These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Basic Healthcare mobile application and services ("Service") provided by Rehoboam Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Basic Healthcare mobile application and services ("Service") provided by Rehoboam Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your username and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

3. Use of the Service

You may only upload your own health records or those of individuals for whom you have legal authorization. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights or permission to upload any health records, including medical documents, voice recordings, or other personal health information. 

You may only use the Service for lawful and intended purposes related to managing and analyzing your health records. You agree not to:

  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent medical records.

  • Use the Service to collect, store, or distribute sensitive personal data without appropriate authorization.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, servers, or user accounts.

  • Engage in data scraping, reverse engineering, or any automated data extraction from the Service.

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes, including harassment or misinformation.

4. Early Access Disclaimer

The Service is currently in early access, meaning it is still undergoing development and testing. While we strive to provide a reliable experience, the Service may have bugs, data inconsistencies, or temporary outages. Rehoboam Inc. makes no guarantees regarding the availability, accuracy, or functionality of the Service during the early access phase. We are not liable for any data loss, inaccuracies, or other issues arising from the use of the Service during this phase.

5. Health Information and AI Interaction

The Service enables users to access, store, and share their personal health records at their discretion. The AI-powered chatbot provides general summaries, explanations, and insights based on user-provided information but does not constitute medical advice.

You should always consult a licensed healthcare professional before making any medical decisions. The AI may assist in interpreting health records; however, Rehoboam Inc. does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. Users must not rely solely on AI-generated information for critical healthcare decisions.

The Service is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, immediately contact a healthcare provider or seek emergency medical assistance.

Rehoboam Inc. disclaims any liability for errors, omissions, or misinterpretations in AI-generated content. Use of the AI chatbot is at your own risk, and users are responsible for verifying information with qualified medical professionals.

6. Voluntary Health Records Collection

Uploading health records to the Service is entirely voluntary. You are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of any information you upload, and for any decisions made based on that information. You can choose to delete or modify your Personal Health Records at any time through the Service. Any health records or personal data uploaded to the Service may be stored locally on your device and processed on secure servers located in the United States. You acknowledge that cloud-based processing may be necessary for certain features, such as data analysis or backup.

7. Limitation of Liability

Rehoboam Inc. is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, system outages, or errors in AI-generated content. In no event will Rehoboam Inc.’s total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the Service, if any.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rehoboam Inc., its affiliates, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of your use of the Service, including any violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

9. Modifications to the Terms

Rehoboam Inc. reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, with the "Effective Date" updated accordingly. Continued use of the Service after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Termination

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by deleting your account or contacting us at support@basic-healthcare.com. If you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that your Personal Health Records and account data are removed from our active databases. However, some non-personal or anonymized data may be retained for analytical or compliance purposes, as permitted by law. 

Rehoboam Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms or any applicable laws.

11. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that all health records, personal information, and any other data you upload to the Service are accurate and up-to-date. You agree to notify us immediately if there are any changes to the information you have provided. 

Rehoboam Inc. implements industry-standard security measures, including encryption, access controls, and security audits, to protect user data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access, breaches, or cyberattacks. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your account credentials confidential.

  • Using strong, unique passwords.

  • Ensuring that your device and internet connection are secure.

12. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, or any part of the Service, at any time without notice. Rehoboam Inc. will not be liable for any such modifications or discontinuations.

13. Privacy and Data Collection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware, for any disputes arising from or related to these Terms.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if applicable. The arbitration will take place in Delaware and be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
